This Refund Policy explains how we handle funds paid to our firm
Retainer Refunds
- Unused Retainers: If you choose not to move forward with legal services and no substantive work has been performed, we generally refund any unused portion of your retainer upon your written request
- Used Retainers: Fees for legal services already performed are non-refundable. We provide detailed invoices showing the time spent, services provided, and costs incurred
Flat Fee Services
For services billed on a flat-fee basis :
- Refunds may not be available once work has begun, depending on how much of the service has already been completed
- If no work has been performed, we generally issue a refund upon request
Processing Time
Approved refunds are processed promptly. Typically, refunds are issued within 10 business days of approval. Refunds are made using the same method as the original payment, unless otherwise agreed
How to Request a Refund
If you believe you’re entitled to a refund :
- Contact us in writing at contact@wakrimlawfirm.com
- Include your name, matter number (if known), and reason for your request
We review all refund requests on a case-by-case basis to ensure fairness and compliance with professional standards
